Terms of Service
Last updated: 28 July 2026
These Terms govern your use of the Cogni app and website (getcogni.app). By creating an account or using Cogni, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Cogni.
Who can use Cogni
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account.
The service
Cogni provides cognitive‑training exercises and self‑assessments for personal use. We may add, change, or remove features over time. Content and scores are for personal tracking and self‑improvement only.
Not medical advice
Cogni's IQ test, "cognition health", and other scores are estimates, not a medical device, clinical diagnosis, or medical advice. Do not use them for any health or medical decision. Consult a qualified professional for medical concerns.
Subscriptions & payments
- Cogni offers a free tier and paid plans (Basic and Pro). Paid features are described at the point of purchase.
- Purchases made on the web are processed by Stripe and are subject to the price and billing period shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
- Purchases made through the Apple App Store are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's terms; manage or cancel them in your App Store account settings.
- Except where required by law, payments are non‑refundable. You can cancel at any time to stop future renewals.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse Cogni, including: attempting to break, reverse‑engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service; disrupting other users; or using Cogni for any unlawful purpose.
Your content
You retain rights to information you provide. You grant us the limited licence needed to operate the service (for example, to store and display your progress to you). You are responsible for the content you submit.
Termination
You may stop using Cogni and delete your account at any time (Settings → Account → Delete account). We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the service.
Disclaimers & limitation of liability
Cogni is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes are reflected by the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, an in‑app notice. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
